| Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) in partnership with its technology partner GTECH has conducted a post-launch research and evaluation of the Super Lotto game which had its first draw on August 28, 2009.
Sonia Davidson, SVL's Vice President of Group Corporate Communications said "We have listened and now here's our response. Some exciting changes have been made to the Super Lotto game in line with feedback from the public that we believe will attract more players."
Customers will now have the option of purchasing a Super Lotto ticket for $150, as well as the current price of $250.
For a $150 wager, the customer will win a share of the advertised jackpot, but with a $250 wager the customer will be able to win the entire jackpot or a bigger share of the advertised jackpot.
Should there be a winner from a $150 ticket and another from a $250 ticket, then the jackpot will be shared amongst both winners but not equally. The person with the $250 ticket will always get the larger portion of the Jackpot. If there is only one winner who purchased a $250 ticket then that winner will get the entire advertised jackpot and if there is only one winner for a $150 ticket purchase, then that person will get a share of the advertised jackpot.
There are also now new ways in which to win the lower tier prizes. These prizes now come with a guaranteed payout for each tier. The guaranteed prizes apply to each draw.
SVL has introduced three additional opportunities for matching numbers to win the lower tier prizes. These additional prize levels are:
Match 2 + Super Ball; Match 1 + Super Ball and Match the Super Ball only. These are in addition to the opportunities that currently exist which are: Matching 3, 4 and 5 with or without the Super Ball.
See below tables showing guaranteed prize amounts for a $250 and a $150 ticket purchase.

New Bet Slips will also be issued to the market, with the modification to include the two price options, that is, $150 and $250.
The starting Jackpot for Super Lotto still remains at $180,000,000 and grows if there is no winner. The game is played across 7 Caribbean islands - Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Barbados, St. Kitts, Anguilla, Antigua and St. Maarten. The method of selecting numbers will remain, that is 5 numbers plus the Super Ball. Pools will close at 7:30pm and the draw aired on CVM Television and IRIE FM on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:30p.m. The new changes to Super Lotto will take effect TODAY, March 6, 2010.
Super Lotto is a block lottery game that is played across more than one national border. In this case, the borders span the Caribbean. It is a multi-jurisdictional game similar to PowerBall, Euromillions or Megamillions in which sales of different countries or jurisdictions join together to allow for a Super Jackpot game.
