SVL's Carlene Edwards & Jhanelle Davis present cheque to Supt. Terrence Bent for contribution towards the JCF/ Police National Football Team

Supreme Ventures Limited, in continuing with its mission of contributing to the nation's upliftment, has made several contributions to various sectors in the first seven weeks of 2010.

Some of the contributions made during this period went to the Jamaica Constabulary Force/Police National Football Team in the amount of $350,000; RISE Life Management Services - $300,000, The Rotary Clubs of Jamaica through its 'Rotary Race to Literacy Book Drive' for $200,000 and to the Jamaica Cancer Society - 'Doctors on Stage for Cancer' for $150,000.00.

JAMAICA CONSTABULARY FORCE/POLICE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM

SVL's contribution to the Police National Football team will enhance, develop and continue to build camaraderie among members of the JCF.  The job that our Police Officers undertake daily is stressful and filled with constant danger, therefore for SVL, any activity that will help them to balance their daily tasks with stress relief is indeed a pleasure. The Police National Football Team currently participates in the Kingston & St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Major League Competition.

RISE LIFE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Although SVL's business is mainly gaming and entertainment, the gaming company has taken pride over the last 4 years in keeping Jamaica on par with other countries that have a vibrant gaming industry. This partnership with RISE Life Management Services will help RISE Life to promote responsible gaming, as well as provide training, education and conduct research on problem gambling related issues.

SVL will once again be the main sponsor of RISE Life's 2010 Project - the Adolescent Gambling Prevention All Island Poster Competition. The theme will be "Adolescents in School Gambling is Against the Rule."

THE ROTARY CLUBS OF JAMAICA - ROTARY RACE TO LITERACY BOOK DRIVE

The Rotary Clubs of Jamaica is a service organization that brings together businesses and professional leaders, to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Bearing this in mind, the Rotary Clubs of Jamaica has undertaken a project entitled "Rotary Race to Literacy Book Drive." Books collected will be donated to the people of Jamaica and Haiti.  In Jamaica, the primary recipient will be the Jamaica Library Service, with its island-wide network of branch, school and mobile libraries.  In Haiti, the primary recipient will be determined by the Rotary Clubs.

SVL is very pleased to partner with the Rotary Clubs on this project, as its contribution will greatly assist the children who will benefit from these books.  One of SVL's corporate citizenry goals is assistance with youth development.

SVL's Carlene Edwards - Senior Corporate Communications Officer (Centre) presents cheque to District Governor Errol Alberga Jnr. of Rotary in Jamaica & Haiti Relief & Rebuilding Effort. Also sharing in the moment is Rotarian Deika Morrison

JAMAICA CANCER SOCIETY

For the last 6 years SVL has been assisting the Jamaica Cancer Society in various fundraising activities. This year is no different as SVL has partnered with the Jamaica Cancer Society as a bronze sponsor to stage their benefit performance - Doctors on Stage for Cancer.
