Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) has added a significant boost to Jamaica's crime fighting efforts by donating Information Technology equipment worth over $800,000 to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
Wayne Boodasingh, Vice President - New Business Development & Special Projects of SVL made the presentation to the Acting Commissioner of Police - Owen Ellington at his Old Hope Road offices this morning.
The equipment which will be set up in the JCF's Control Units includes 5 Multi-media Projectors and Screens, 5 Desktop Computers and 1 Laptop.
Acting Commissioner Ellington was elated and thanked SVL for its donation. He said that the equipment will enhance the data collection process of the JCF and the Close Circuit Television (CCTV) project currently being undertaken.
Mr. Boodasingh applauded the efforts of the JCF in establishing CCTV's in the various parishes. He also communicated Supreme Ventures' commitment to this partnership.
