Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) has once again put on its philanthropic hat by making a donation of well needed medical equipment to the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), this morning.
The equipment which is worth over $500,000 was presented to the UHWI Physiotherapy Department. It includes a Vision Fitness Commercial Treadmill with HR Monitor and a Non-Invasive BP/Sp02 Patient Monitor.
SVL's Jhanelle Davis, Corporate Events Coordinator, Charmaine Lawson, Executive Assistant and Henry Johnson, Promotions Clerk/Driver presented the equipment to Yvonne Lowe, Director - Physiotherapy Services of UHWI. Dr. Trevor McCartney - Acting CEO of UHWI, Catherine Sweetland - Senior Physiotherapist - UHWI and Douglas Simpson - CEO of Medical Products Limited also shared in the joyous occasion.
The equipment will be used to assist the UHWI physiotherapists to better monitor and manage patients who have been diagnosed with cardiac, neurological and orthopaedic problems.
