SVL MAKES PLEDGE TO THE JAMAICA SOCIETY FOR THE BLIND 60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) made a $100,000 pledge to the Jamaica Society for the Blind at their offices in Kingston. The contribution will assist the Society in offsetting costs associated with its 60th anniversary celebrations. Chairman of the Jamaica Society for the Blind - Reverend Arthur Taylor, in accepting the company's pledge, said that his organization was so grateful for the contribution from Supreme Ventures. He further stated that "The Society is in need of a lot of funds. Presently we are constructing a vision centre that will meet the needs of eye health care in Jamaica. So far, the building is almost finished and we are in need of ophthalmic equipment and other material/aids, to help us to advance the process."
