Pick 2 was launched to the public on Monday - December 13, 2010. The game draws are conducted at 8:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 5pm and 8:25pm (Sunday to Saturday).
In the Pick 2 game, players simply choose two numbers: One each from two different sets of 36 numbers, that is, 1 of 36 plus 1 of 36. They will have the chance to win up to $8,000 from a $20 bet. The average prize payout for Pick 2 is 61.73%
How to Play Pick 2
Players select one number between 1 and 36 and a second number from a different field of 36 numbers between 1 and 36.
How to Draw Pick 2
The Lottery draws two numbers (one number each from two separate fields of 36 numbers; numbered 1 to 36)
How to Win Pick 2
Players win the top prize of Pick 2 if they match both numbers in the right fields of 36 numbers. Players also win if they match one of the numbers in the correct field.
Pick 2 Prize Payout (In Jamaican Dollar and based on J$20 minimum Price)
The prizes for Pick 2 are guaranteed (fixed) amounts. The game pays J$100 for matching one number in the correct field and J$8,000 for matching both numbers in their respective fields with a minimum bet of J$20.
The game has a minimum cost of J$20 and a maximum of J$1,000. Amounts that players can wager are: J$20, J$40, J$60, J$80, J$100, J$200, J$500 and J$1,000.
In Advanced Wagering, players are able to skip the next drawings and wager for a draw after their skipped drawing. Pick 2 offers Advanced Wagering for that day only. Players have the option of playing one or two Advanced Wagering options for that day only.
Multi Draw Wagering
Multi Draw Wagering allows the players to wager on multiple consecutive draws. There is a maximum of 24 multi draws. The Multi-Draws available on the system are 2, 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12.
Quick Pick allows for the players to elect for the terminals to give them random numbers generated for Pick 2. Pick 2 offers the Quick Pick option.
