John was born on February 17, 1955. He attended Cornwall College from 1966-1973. He holds an LLB with second-class honors from the University of the West Indies. Later at the Norman Manley Law School, he obtained a Certificate of Legal Education and was the most outstanding student for the two-year period 1976-1978.
John's career began at Myers, Fletcher & Gordon, as an associate. He went on to become a partner in Broderick & Graham and Patterson, Phillipson & Graham and is now the principal in John G. Graham & Company. His expertise includes civil litigation, advocacy, commercial law, and conveyancing.
John has served as Director on a number of boards, both in the private and public sector. He is a member of the Kingston Cricket Club. During his long career he has represented clients such as Citibank, Sandals, Appliance Traders, Air Jamaica, Island Car Rentals, Jamaica Lottery Company, Budget Car Rental, Key Motors, Jamaica Observer and Supreme Ventures.
John's hobbies include squash, reading, dominoes and cricket. He has five children.
